Leaf Truck – Ward 3

The leaf trucks are in Ward 3.  They are working to try and get the leaves but may have to skip if there’s too much snow on the leaves. Bear with them as they are still trying to get the leaves picked up.  They will be going around again.  Please make sure you have your leaves to the curb.  It is uncertain as to whether the trucks will be back around again.  Please place leaves on the tree lawn between the sidewalk and the curb.  Please do not place leaves close to a telephone pole, street sign, etc. as the vacuum is not able to get close enough to those objects to pick up the leaves.  The trucks are unable to pick up any leaves past the sidewalk as the arm only reaches 8-9 feet from the truck.  Do not rake leaves out onto the road as this could make conditions very hazardous for vehicles and leaves could get down into the storm drains and clog them up.  There will be an update to this calendar.  If you should have any questions, please contact the Service Directors office at (330) 296-6326.
