Leaf Truck – click for more information

The annual leaf pickup program for the City of Ravenna will start on November 1st, starting in Ward 1 then move on to Ward 2, Ward 3 and Ward 4 and will continue in this cycle until the end of the leaf season, generally by the beginning of December or whenever the snow starts.  This calendar will be updated as we move through the wards.

There will be NO BRUSH OR BAG PICKUP after the week of Oct. 25th.  There also will no longer be a leaf bag container at the Street Dept. garage on Oakwood Street after October 25th.  We ask that the residents not use the paper bags during this time as they will not be distributed during the leaf pickup program.  Leaves must be raked to the curb in loose piles.  Grass clippings and flowers can be added to the leaves.  Leaves will not be picked up if mixed with tree limbs, brush or debris.  Please do NOT rake the leaves into the street as this causes clogging of the storm drainage systems and creates serious problems of flooding during heavy rains.  Do NOT park vehicles in front of leaf piles.  If you should have any questions or concerns, please call the Service Department at (330) 296-6326.
