Reed Memorial Library

Reed Memorial Library

In 1903, the philanthropist and industrialist Andrew Carnegie gifted Ravenna $10,000 to build out its public library. In 1921, Judge Cornelius Reed offered $25,000 to build a new library. Since then, the Reed Memorial library is a busy community hub in Ravenna. Today, it serves the needs of children, teens and adults. Our library loans books and digital media, offers free online courses, hosts reading programs, showcases authors and other guests and provides meeting rooms to civic organizations.
