Leaf Truck – Ward 1

The leaf trucks are making their rounds in Ward 1 again this morning.  We do not have a schedule for this, so once they finish with Ward 1, they will move the trucks over into Ward 2.  They will move through each ward until either the weather gets too bad, or they see that they have picked up all the leaves.  Please place leaves on the tree lawn between the sidewalk and the curb.  The trucks are unable to pick up any leaves past the sidewalk as the arm does not reach out any further than that. The arm only reaches out 8 to 9 feet.  Do NOT rake leaves out onto the road as this could make conditions very hazardous for vehicles and leaves could get down into the catch basins and clog them up.  There will be updates posted to this calendar as they become available.  If you should have any questions, please contact the Service Directors office at (330) 296-6326.
