About the Ravenna Police Department

The Ravenna City Police Department proudly serves the 11,500+ citizens of the City of Ravenna, with a staff of 27 sworn Law Enforcement Officers and 11 Communications Officers. The department is equipped with a state of the art computer aided dispatch system, mobile data terminals, enhanced 911, and other advanced technology to better serve its citizens. Our officers answer over 20,000 calls for service each year ranging from public assists such as vehicle lockouts to more serious criminal offenses such as assaults, burglaries and robberies. In case of more serious tactical incidents, the department belongs to Metro Swat which is a multi-jurisdictional agency that further enhances our response capabilities. The department works with a Federal Task Force through the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), which investigates illegal drug activity in Ravenna and throughout the county.

Ravenna Police - are there any public tornado shelters in town?

That's great news..

I wonder if there is a signal for 'all clear' after we have the siren to take cover?

Government is causing All these bad storms. #PowerToThePeople #ItsTimeForAnarchy

Glad everyone got out safe! Prayers for all

Good job paying attention to detail. I also hope she gets the help she needs mentally.

Thank god no people were hurt, but some lost their animals and that’s just as sad! Prayers for all involved!

I hopefully she gets mental help! Prayer to everyone involved 🙏

Praying for help.🙏🙏🙏

Wow!

Hope she gets the help she really needs .. 🙁

Glad no people were hurt beyond losing belongings and pets. Really sad. Hope the lady gets help and is put somewhere she can’t do this ever again.

Jamie Thorne

Thank goodness no one was hurt!

Kenneth Sell

Allison Marie

How traumatic for the other residents 😭 thank goodness everyone got out.

Adam Davis

It’s Biden fault

Never know who lives next door

Wtf is wrong people

I saw that! A couple people we know lost their apts!

Terrible this stuff happens. But honestly I blame the media. They have vilified both guys and nobody knows what is going on anymore. Also what happened to throwing these people in a rubber room for a couple decades to get their act together. It’s just crazy how backwards we’ve gone as a society.

Obviously she's mentally disturbed. Glad nobody was seriously hurt.

This country needs to bring back MENTAL HEALTH FACILITIES AND OR HOSPITALS THAT ARE EQUIPPED TO HANDLE THE MENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL ISSUES OF SOMEONE IS STRUGGLING WITH AND OR ADDICTION WHICH IS USUALLY THE UNDERLYING CAUSE and quit the BS stigma around it mental health it is no different than treating heart disease kidney disease in or cancer. I myself has struggled with mental health issues all of my life and have not received the proper care simply for the fact the care is not out there. My heart breaks for all who are involved and sending prayers. Yes this lady needs to be held accountable for her actions and what she has done BUT she needs treatment first and foremost to help her get her mental health under control. WE NEED TO QUIT TURNING A BLIND EYE TO ADDICTION AND MENTAL HEALTH IT IS BECOME A CRISIS.

She should be getting a lot more charges than that

Try this on for size. Need training for Mental Health and how to police the Mental Health public at latge.... At least, She wasn't extremely hurt or killed in this situation... CIT training and certification every 3 years should be done mandatory and in services on it yearly. nypost.com/2024/02/21/us-news/lapd-cop-shot-dead-man-armed-with-plastic-fork/?fbclid=IwAR3gjKXFo5...

We need mental health care in this county. REAL mental health care.

Whack job
