Historic District

The City of Ravenna is proud of our rich history, which is evident in our historic district which runs about one mile along Main Street and expands into the near neighborhoods to downtown.

Several downtown Ravenna buildings have been widely recognized for their historic importance. Four of the eleven Riddle Block buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, they provide a link from the city’s rich history to its hopes for a revitalization in the not-so-distant future.
