Projects

The City of Ravenna will advertise upcoming construction projects on the BidExpress website. Any forms and documents can be downloaded by the bidder for free from the website and are located within the project solicitation. Bidders can submit bids through the website for a per bid or monthly fee, but we will accept hard copies as well. If submitting a hard copy, please refer to the Instructions to Bidders (B’ pages contained in the Contract Book) for requirements. Notice: Contractors MUST notify the Engineering Department (via BidExpress, phone, or email) of their interest in submitting a bid. We must have your company contact information to issue addendums, should there be any. If a bidder submits a bid and is not on the plan holders list, their bid will not be read. By downloading documents from a solicitation posted on BidExpress, the bidder will automatically be added to the plan holder list and does not need to contact us directly.

The Proposal Pages (P’ pages contained in the Contract Book or the modules on BidExpress) must be completed and submitted in their entirety (in other words do not leave any pages or modules out) along with your bid bond per the Instructions to Bidders. In the past we required the complete contract books to be submitted with your bid, but this is no longer required. By submitting a bid, a bidder acknowledges they have a complete copy of the contract Documents and Specifications.
